The Many Faces of the Bach Cello Suites

When certain works of music become well-loved, or even lauded as masterpieces, they often become transcribed for instruments other than the original one for which they were intended.  The Bach cello suites are absolutely no exception to this.   They are popular for viola, saxophone, and yes…even violinists have gotten jealous and have their own version!

We are so highly anticipating Friday, Feb. 28 and Monday, March 3 for the Bach suites on solo cello, but we think you will enjoy these other renditions!

Finally, for those who prefer a more traditional approach, the delightful Pablo Casals on cello.
